I remember the days as a child where I didn’t really know what rojak was. One of our many, many family friends would sometimes serve it during lunar new year. I remember being terrified to eat the rojak. I mean like, it was a mess of brown clumps where everything looked the same yet tasted different! It was like eating jelly beans where all the jelly beans are yellow, but there’s both lemon and popcorn flavor! Except it’s tofu and pineapple flavor! In other news, I like rojak now and can even make it myself, but I just wanted to say this hunt theme really stirred up some buried childhood feelings.
